Suspected Terrorists Open Fire on Civilian in Awantipora, Search Operation Underway
Awantipora: Suspected terrorists on Wednesday opened fire at a civilian in Tral area of Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir. Soon after the incident, an encounter between the terrorists and the security men has broken out.
As per Kashmir Zone Police, the area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation is going on. More details in the matter are awaited.
On November 10, a similar encounter between the suspected terrorists and the security forces took place in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.
Two days later, Kashmir Zone Police revealed that two terrorists were eliminated in the Bandipora encounter.
